Lessons

Our piping lessons which are run by our three wonderful grade 1 teachers have grown dramatically over the past couple of months.

We have three levels within our lesson programmes, beginners, seniors, and advanced.

    

The beginners are as you would expect, almost new to the bagpipes and they mostly spend the whole ten week lesson block on chanters.

    

The senior pipers are made up of promoted beginners, people who have played before but wish to consolidate their skills, and hobby pipers who are not really part of a current band, but they just want to play, and continue playing pipes.

      

The advanced players are generally bagpipers who are already part of a band but wish to upskill and enhance their playing technique with private lessons with one of our grade 1 pipers. The advanced skill lessons are proving to be extremely popular.

    

The Perth Piping Centre lessons are a “Not for Profit” concept and are 100% about increasing the number of new pipers in WA, as well as advancing the skills of existing pipers. As a result, lessons at the moment are extremely affordable.
